Over the decades, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI & DS) has grown significantly, becoming its own independent area within Computer Science and Engineering. It has caused a paradigm change in a number of academic, industrial, and research domains. AI&DS is quickly changing the world by teaching machines. With the use of the newest tools and technologies, this course aims to provide students with the abilities to apply their knowledge of statistics, computing, artificial intelligence, and data science to enhance human capacities and increase efficiency. Students will also learn how to analyze, interpret, and visualize data in a variety of forms and formats. FinTech, AgriTech, Healthcare, Education, Manufacturing, and Retail are just a few of the areas that have been greatly impacted by the advances in AI&DS.

The goal of the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science is to offer top-notch, cutting-edge undergraduate technical education. We at the department are dedicated to providing our students with the knowledge and skills in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, and related subjects that they need to succeed in the contemporary world.

In the twenty-first century, AI and DS have had a big influence on human society. They have completely changed the ways in which we work, interact, educate, learn, and pass the time. The primary aim of the Department is to offer possibilities for experiential learning, such as practical instruction, research projects, internships, and project-based courses, which equip students with the skills to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and shape the future. Algorithms, artificial intelligence, image processing, pattern recognition, machine learning, data mining, big-data analytics, and computer security are just a few of the many subjects covered by the department's research fields.

Aside from providing cutting-edge instruction, the Department prioritizes enhancing the educational experience of its students by providing them with opportunity to engage in technical challenges and hackathons at all levels, value-added courses, and skill-development programs. Working together, supporting one another, and cooperating across a varied range of projects, labs, departments, and industry partners is what the teachers, staff, and students of Kings Engineering College's AI&DS believe in. By using this strategy, we can secure the success of our students while fostering fruitful multidisciplinary cooperation.
